English style pub near the heart of the Eixample. If real pints, traditional English food and watching athletic, hairy men run around kicking a ball on TV screens are your bag then you'll feel completely at home here! This is a wonderful place for anyone who deems to call themself a 'geeza' to pursue their favourite English past-times from the comfort of a traditionally uncomfortable barstool. If sport is you thing then the plethora of TVs will doubtlessly satisfy your alpha-male desires. I however, come here for the food which ranges from steak pies to fry ups and curries, offering a little taste of Britain far from our grey and watery shores! If local culture is not 'your cup of tea', and you want to avoid the hen-parties and stag-do's in the center of town, then this is definitely the locale for a pint.

2017 Update: Whilst this pub does do your typical footy sports events on their projector TV in the back room, they also host live music events (mostly jazz, blues & folk) and other social events like Intercambio Monday and Pub Quiz Thursday. The food is typical pub food - some may find it too stodgy, although the English Breakfast is done well. The table and bar service can also be a bit tardy at times, especially during busy periods.

Nice decorated English pub, quiet music or sports during the weekend.
The specialty seem to be the english breakfast, I will let u know as soon as I try it.
Good guiness served and john smith (one of my favorites beers 4,50€/pint)
