This is a great place in that it's really a restaurant in the day (a pretty good one actually) and a bar at night. The interior is interesting in a rustic style, although the benches give it a slightly pubbish feel. This combination makes it a good place to hang out and drink in the only way us Brits know how! What's unusual about this place is the age range, which varies from teens to middle aged - this lends the place a good all round family/local feel. Expect to find post-cinema goers, and dipsomaniacs young and old in this interesting and special kind of bar.

Update 2018 - Check their website or facebook page for latest menus and photo's. There is some limited outdoor street seating for those warm summer nights, and a couple of pool tables upstairs for the cooler times. Although we didn't try the food ourselves, the restaurant gets consistently good scores and reviews. After your visit, try the nearby Plaça de la Virreina to enjoy the local Gracia atmosphere.
