Located in the Barri Gótic section of Barcelona, Harlem Jazz club is an intimate setting for live music from around the globe, but focusing on blues, jazz, funk, soul & reggae. The venue is pretty small and mostly standing room only, with a tiny floor for dancing. The entree fee (€6 and includes a drink) is worth the price as far as the music goes, but be warned - additional drinks are on the expense side. The club sits down a small street in the heart of the old town and has quite a bohemian feel, with a more mature, discerning but friendly clientele. The live sets normally start around 10pm and go on until midnight or so, with the later hours given over to a variety of Barna's DJs when the tables are cleared and a younger crowd pours in to boogie the night away!
