Well, this is definitely a pub with a few differences and to be honest it has it all. Despite being a huge fan of bars that are not in any way connected to footy culture or attempting to be a paragon of the English pub in Barcelona, I actually really like this gaff. In fact this is going to be my second 5 star bar rating as there is really nothing (as hard as I try!) to fault with this place. It has a great little pool area - which means as opposed to most bars in this city, you can reach all of your shots without gauging the walls or ceiling (see Paul's review of the Bristol Blue for more details!), a unique "stock exchange" pricing system so you can grab your favourite tipple at a price that fits your dusty, cobwebbed infested wallet, real pints of beer (and Guiness), plus the staff speak English too! Every 30 minutes or so the stock market suffers "un crack" and drink prices go down by 30-50%. Good decor and the aforementioned pricing system and you've got the perfect pub in Barcelona. A good place to invest in an afternoon's drinking with an inevitable Alka Seltzer session in the morning!

This is a very popular pub indeed, perhaps the most popular in Barcelona, especially since it doesn´t have the advantage of being in a prime location around the Ramblas where it´s easy to lure in the tourists. During the last World Cup and European Championships, it was completely packed with a great atmosphere.
This is actually one of the worst bars i´ve ever been to. This pub attracts an almost exclusively American crowd, mostly frat guys and sorority girls from the states, and the bartenders (one in particular) are extremely rude. one of the bartenders actually had the nerve to tell one of the girls in our group to "shut the F*** up" simply for trying to order a drink, and told another girl "we only serve who we want here". Don´t waste your time, this is a crappy American bar in Barcelona, and there are much better places with more enjoyable atmosphere. Seriously, if you´ve been to any bar/pub in the states, you´ve already been to a better bar than dow jones.
It's a fun bar... But do realize that it is indeed a place where there are a lot of spoiled Americans... But fun to see them all get wasted. I had a good time over there.
A very original vivid bar with fantastic bartenders. With Champions league night they show up to 8 different games simultaneously, great! I'm from Amsterdam and woud like to have a bar like this in my hometown. A must do!
Bar Dow Jones is the most orginal bar in Barcelona, bar with vivid international atmosphere. Like the cocktails & the crowd.......thanks guys!

I really enjoyed this bar, a must visit in Barcelona. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. I was especially pleased with the vast assortments of beer.
Bar people are racist!
